I agree and I've written to Petrozza a saying as much. I imagine I'll be banned next for asking that this place remain a place where conversation is civil....
Another point I've tried to make. Apparently after FireIdzik got lambasted he finally said he thought the site and it's posters were trash or something to that effect and this is what got him banned; Petrozza pointed out he wasn't going to let someone come to his home and degrade it. I pointed out to Petrozza that if someone had come to my home and been received the way he FireIdzik had then I would filly expect them to think I was trash. I've had salesmen, Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses, the Girl Scouts, and an array of other come to my home and, despite the fact that I have sent almost all of them away completely disappointed (save for the Girl Scouts), I have never received or sent away any of them in the manner the posters here did with this petition request. Personally, I don't blame FireIdIk for finally losing his patience. I couldn't care less about the petition, but the sheer madness elucidated here is off-putting and I think the way this thread was handled harms the entire environment here by making it less likely people will post. And without posting what is this place? Nothing....
Nah...I don't think he will ban you....in fact I think in time Petrozza will lift the ban. I think he did a knee jerk reaction.
