Yeah, I'd agree with that assessment, and add there were too many penalties against the OL last night. But is is a heckuva lot better than it was last year.

(And btw, the Jets didnt get Brett Favre to run a lot- even on 4th down, as we saw last night).

    POLL

assuming the jets beat miami in all the following senarios, which would you prefer:

1- pennington plays well by looses to his former team. hugs coles before and after the game.

2- jet d-line blows penny up with multiple sacks and interceptions.

3- gholsten, pace, and harris combine to crush penny and knock him out for the season.

I like to see #1 happen. Pennington always had a lot of class and played after three very serious injuries.

I like to see #3 happen against Brady though. Now that their three SB victories all by three points have been forever tainted by all the cheating they did, let's beat him and the rest of the pats up really good. I do believe that we have the team to do it this year. Remember the game in Foxboro. We had the worst OL and DL and their offense couldn't score a TD unless you count the one when the pats got the ball at the three.

Starting with #1 (bold only) -> #2 all the way during the game (but i expect them from the LBs, not DLs) -> ends with #1 again. (again, bold only)

#3 is reserved for the Pats.
