So should the sack totals be expected to drop significantly when you put two "big" upgrades on the OLine? Should they also not significantly drop when you become one of the conference's best rushing teams? As for the hurries and hits stats, I tried to look for them a couple weeks ago, but I could never locate them. Your fact is valid, but it doesn't actually provide evidence that Callahan had a significant impact on the offensive line. That's all I'm saying.
I think half of the decrease has to do with the improvement of the line and the other half due to Favre's stubborn refusal to ever take a sack in lieu of tossing the ball up for grabs.
Kurt is Marty's brother. Stars are aligning to perhaps reunite the family here. Still don't know how I'd feel about that
I will be absolutely furious if they hire BS. Not only should he not be HC he should not even be OC. Callahan should be OC and BS should be OUT.
Thats some pretty fuckin sad news that out of all the coache's out there our shitty OC is the lead canidate. Im slowly starting to hate woody.
That is a correct statement. I don't thin the jets are gonna want little schott to be the coach. What there trying to do is make sure he stays relevant, they really would like to keep the same offense system(as aweful as i thought t it was) its not only a benefit to favre, but a benefit to Ratliff and Clemons.. the jets are just fearful of a new coach coming in with a whole new system.. the thought is get the right guy and the team doesn't lose a beat(schott stays) the offense stays the same. with 2 inexperienced qbs, they wont pick up a new offense fast enough.
