... and he still looks like he's not up to 100% yet. Aside from his obvious vision, skillset, fluid grace, etc, he's very matter-of-fact, calm, & steady in demeanor. He doesn't get into the styling, look-at-me stuff, most athletes exhibit these days. He's always looking passed initial defenders, onto the next level. I love that when he does his thing, or scores, he just flips the ball to the ref, & goes about his business. As an aside, I see in Breece, something I saw as a kid in Emerson Boozer, a guy rarely mentioned anymore. Boozer wasn't as big, but had that same fluid 'illusiveness' until he destroyed his knee, early in his career. He was never the same after the injury, but before the injury was often compared with Gale Sayers. .
One (of many) things I like about Breece is that he always keeps his momentum downfield. There's no dancing around trying to make something out of nothing. He hits home runs anyway because he has great vision and speed.
They should ease up on him and let Izzy & Cook take it for the last two games. No reason to risk a late season injury to our star back.
I've been tough on JD, but a lot of us questioned the pick of Breece at the time b/c it seemed the Jets already had a top running back in Michael Carter. Well, it was a great pick by JD and he should get credit where credit is due. The 2022 draft was historically good.
Breece and Garret Wilson are the diamonds laying on top of that turd pile called the Jets...my xmas prayer is that we keep Hall and Garret on the team and not let them head elsewhere
I guess now we know how this is possible: https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/how-is-this-even-possible-rhetorical-question.99736/
Insane to think about. The only other RB attempt inside the 5 was Breece vs Vegas but called back because Uzamah holding penalty.
I said this in the game thread when it happened, that was a run up the middle of you look at the linemen. That play was Breece turning another garbage Hackett play call into something cool.
