I know this is great news for us, but what the hell are the texans thinking? Dominak Davis is no elite RB!
Holy shit I went to bed last happy that all was content in the drafting world and wake up to this. I thought Reggie was a lock...
To all those that predicted Bush would fall past #1: Bravo. I just couldn't bring myself to believe the rumors. But i stand corrected.
houston is reatarded... let's just hope that New Orleans doesn't make up for there ineptitide with clevernis/trading the pick to greenbay or san fran
FINALLY a team GETS IT! Just because a guy is "#1 overall" talent doesn't mean he's right for your team. Williams will do more for the Texans than Bush would have. They would have been stuck with two great RB's and still have a hole on the D-Line. I'm tired of agents and the media dictating the draft. It's too bad for SF they didn't get it last year. They would have been better off drafting Derrick Johnson than Alex Smith.
I agree with you, Murrell. And I hope you agree with me about taking D'Brick over Bush. The Jets have an aging OL, and need the best help they can get in that department. Reggie Bush may not be Jeff Lageman, but I feel like he's close. Plus I believe a great OL springs a fair HB better than a great HB springs a fair OL. Crazy, am I? That's what they said about Napoleon.
wesley - the only reason I don't agree with you is because the draft is deep at the OT and OL positions. The only way I don't want Bush, is if we have to give both of our #1's and our #2 + more. If we give up the 2 #1's and a #3 I would be okay with that because we can still pick up a good OT in the 3rd and 4th rounds. I'd be happy if we didn't lose much this year. If we gave them the #4 and a 1st next year, I'd be okay with that because I think this years draft is too deep while next years might not be. (I hope I made some sense out of what I was trying to say here)
