Technically our first 2 picks arent enough to trade up for 2nd pik(according to trade value chart) and i personally am not willing to giv up more then that(just my opinion).

Now what do you expect his #'s to look like to make a statement like that.. He has all the talent in the world but once in a lifetime?? LT gets 2000 all purpose yards every year, what is Bush gonna get?

Yeah I admit I definetly overreacted by saying "once-in-a-lifetime," I didn't mean it like that but I'm pretty excited. It's not that long, but it is very rare a player with Bush's talent enters the draft.

I can't see NO taking Bush, I think they wanted Williams first and now that he's gone they are after Ferguson. But anyways, this is good for the Jets eitherway as more talent fall to us (Lienart will probably be at #4 assuming no trades)

now that I can agree with. Just don't get to excited cause it is still very unlikely that he is a Jet by 12:30 tomorrow..

Whats funny about this is that during the week I asked to see some Mocks with Mario at #1, not Bush. I got some crap for that.

We're in the drivers seat on this trade. The only other realistic trade partners the Saints have is the Titans, and 49ers. Green Bay is not moving up with Green locked up longterm. And after the 49ers what team is going to want to give up basically their whole draft to move up to 2? And don't forget to consider D'Brick who most think is the Saints most logical want will be long gone by then.

I say we give the Saints a take it or leave it offer, and see who flinches first.

I think they only have Green signed this year, I heard the Saints liked Walker so the Packers and Saints could possibly work out a Walker and #5 for #2, maybe with another pick going the Saints way. I don't see the Titans moving up, I think they want Young and will stay at 3 to get him. The 49ers, maybe, with the 2 firsts, but I don't see the Saints trading down to 6 because they wouldn't get Brick or Hawk. (Bush to SF at 2, Brick to us at 4, Hawk to GB at 5)
