Call me naive but I actually believe Te'o's story. Guy seems to be a pretty big Mormon, probably wants to marry a Mormon, I don't imagine there are a lot of Mormons at Notre Dame, a Catholic school, so if this fake GF was presented as a Mormon then maybe he took the bait and was duped? I think it is plausible. Woody probably can't wait till draft day to draft him. Imagine if Tebow is our starter week 1 with Te'o starting at LB...the circus continues...

They are reporting that he had spoke with her on the phone so it would be tough to get past that part and still claim that the relationship was entirely online.
My thoughts as well... his dad stated that she came to Hawaii to meet him but now Te'o says they never met. This is a bizarre story.

Sweet! This means Teo's value will be down. We might get lucky and be able to scoop him up in round 2, or trade down in round 1 for more picks and still get him. I like it.
