I understand the need for stability, but countless times Todd made careless misjudgments in-game. Obviously the franchise is committing to him so he MUST make the proper adjustments.

I think this means we see Kirk Cousins as the next QB of the Jets. Mac and Bowles don't have enough long term stability to start a new project. They can bring back Mccown as the backup and continue working on Hackenberg as the 3. Also, signing Cousins gives the Jets freedom to not pick QB in the first round (if they don't love one), which will be difficult to begin with considering this year's class. Secondary much improved? the last jets win (if you can remember that far back), the jets secondary was torched for 4 TD long passes by that hall of famer Alex Smith. Lee improved? Did you watch the Saints game recently? Or the raider game in week 2? 2016 record 5-11 2017 record 5-11 Improvement to me is wins and losses, not subjective perception of "effort."
