This really is the jets fans worst nightmare. Giants showing us how a real organization is run and gets a franchise qb. No way we win in this situation either our scraps become amazing for them or they get the qb we were meant to get. The coach we were meant to get and the success we were meant to get

So the Giants are willing to bench probable future hall of famer Eli Manning to see how their backup QBs play, while the Jets will continue to shovel 38 year old McCown out to take sacks and throw ints while not giving their young QBs any snaps. Jets in a nutshell.

That's how you run an organization if you have zero integrity.
I have no respect for Mara. Playing Geno Smith is telling all the players you want to lose, and it makes Macadoo a complete lame duck.

the NFL really needs to change the draft order determination to prevent guys like Mara from trying to game the system.

Funny thing is I don't believe there is a QB worth throwing the team and coaches under the bus like that.
I hope it blows up in Mara's weasel face.

Good ole giants and McAdoo doo also asked Eli if he wanted to start to keep the streak. Did he also say he was gonna do it for the other 4 games after?? But giants are a great organization!

Rest assured ... if Geno even comes close to winning, you'll see Webb in a heartbeat.

Giant fans and Francessa are hilarious as if Manning deserves some sort of meaningless games started streak over the best interest of the franchise going forward...Giants doing the smart thing as usual.

I've never been an Eli fan, but it's hard not to feel for the guy, especially after the interview he gave.

As for him going to Jacksonville, it makes too much sense. Bortles just isn't the guy, they have all the other pieces ready, and he reunites with Coughlin.

They have also won too many games to realistically have a shot at one of the better QB's.

They'll go Eli next season and with that defense they'll be major players in the AFC for at least a season or 2

Do they bench him if he throws a couple of quick TDs in the 1st quarter?

Marrone is one of the worst coaches in the NFL, and Eli is no better than McCown at this point.

I do love the defense, but that wouldn't be a good move for the Jags.
they'd be better off firing Marrone and bringing on QBs from draft and FA to compete with Bortles.

It is hard to call this a "tank" move.

If anyone has been paying attention, the Giants do not need to play Geno to lose, they have been doing that pretty well with Eli. Eli has been fucking terrible this year and honestly looks like he is about done -- unlike Brees, Brady and others who look like they are still going strong.

If that is there intention, it may backfire by playing someone with a chip and their shoulder and trying to prove that they still belong in the league.

If I am a giant fan my biggest fear now is that macadoo and Reese will be back next year
