    Let me try.

Patriots- Lost Randy Moss goes off on rookie CB Revis L

Ravens- Lost- Raven defense wins this game and possible ruin jets season- Its tuiasosopo time

Miami - Win- Jets win first of season

Buffalo Lost- Buffalo just seems to play jets very well

Giants- Lost Giants Dline create hugh problems for Jets oline.

Philly - LOst Philly has some serious talent

Bengals - Lost- Too much weapons and they pick on Revis ion coverage- looks like J miller
Buffalo- Win Jets win -I see teams splitting the season series

Washington- Win- Jets are on a roll

    BYe

Steelers- Lost Steelers oline like usually happens will dominate Jets D

Cowboys- Lost D Ware and his buddies show Jets what a real 3-4 defense looks like.

Miami- Win I think jets find a way to win this game

Browns- Win I think Jets pay them back for last year

NE- Win Mangini gets one game against Patriots

Tenn- Jets win as teams make V Young beat them withn his arm and not his leg

Chiefs- Win Jets beat a team that finishes in the basement in Afc West

    So counting up the wins

I see Jets being 8-8 Not bad with a much much difficult schedule

Jets schedule looks real tough first half season.

The schedule is not that difficult
The only playoff teams we play are

    NE
    Balt
    Philly
    Giants
    Dallas

    Thats it.

and NE and Philly were the only teams that actually won a playoff game. The others got knocked out in the 1st round.

    Jets will be 12-4.

How many playoff games did Jets win last year? Jets played the softest schedule last year. This years schedule(especially in first half looks real tough)
Who cares what happened last year, has no bearing whats going to happen this year. You might say its not a tough schedule sitting on your couch watching the games, but I bet the players(have to play in the game) don't see it the same way as you.
Jets still have alot of holes and are not one better teams in the Nfl.
i just think your setting yourself up for big dissapointment.

I couldn't agree more.. Last year is "LAST YEAR".. Gone, Finished, Vanished.. I think the Jets schedule will be a true test, as well as injuries.. Jets had no injuries last year.. I'm glad NE opens with the Jets since it will be a test for NE as well.. Hopefully the Kendall situation doesn't distract from anything the Jets are trying to accomplish.. We'll just have to wait and see...

12-4 is like a magical season to a Jets fan. While it's impossible to tell whats going to happen, does anyone feel like we really have that magic going into this season?

In 97 almost all of our games were close with the exception of a couple lopsided wins. That year to me seamed like watching a team learn how to win, and, strange as it may sound, how not too lose. Everyone got that feeling that next year was gonna be a big year. It almost was.

Watching last years team seamed more like looking at a team trying to find it's identity. With the late season play of the defense, it seems like they might have found there nitch. This team got smoked a couple times last year though, 3 times if you include the playoff game. We've improved, but so has our primary competition.

Like I said , No one knows what going to happen next year. Maybe a couple players really come on for the Jets, and they become the team to beat. Why I don't like about Jets going against patriots Early. Better rookie CB than Revis, have struggled some in their rookie year. Revis from all accounts was very inconsistant Cb his last year in college. Yet we are to believe hes going to come into NFL and be this shutdown /consistant CB from get go.
JMo I think more realistic expectation is second half of 2007 or 2008.(if he ever does- Cb bust at high rate)

Here is why I don't think Jets will win that many games.( 10- 12) Lack of depth almost everywhere. Jets get an injury and they are in some serious trouble.
Too much to expect Jets to stay healthy at alot of positions.
again I see Jets at 8-8 next year.

Okay It seemed like Jets found their nitch in second half on defense? Time will tell, but the fact is Jets did play some of the worse offenses, in all of football last year, in second half.(might have been the reason they looked like they found their niche on defense)

This season going to say alot about mangini as a head coach.(alot more expectations this year and much tougher schedule)

lack of depth everywhere? we have excellent depth almost across the board. The only place we don't have alot of depth is QB but just like the last 5 years our season hinges on Chad's health. we do have Clemens but who knows if he's rady? outside of that we have depth everywhere, we lose depth at G if kendall is gone but of kedall returns we have depth at the G position.

We played almost identical schds to the rest of the divisionand we won 10 games while Miami and Buf won 6 & 7. Sure we played crappy teams like the raiders in the 2nd half but we had a tough 1st half sched and stayed afloat by going 4-4.

man o' man do i ever want to put some dough down with bets against a lot of you guy's. homer wishful thinking from most. all of you have wins against dallas(lol). they're are a much better team than anyone here is giving them credit for. same with philly and buffalo always takes one from the jets. all and all, short memories and a lot of green clouds fogging some people's minds.
although i see a winning season(9-7), no way it's going to be the cake walk some here think. cinci is tough, too close to call. anyone say's otherwise is foolish! same can be said with pitt. you people talk like we have winning records against these teams, NOT.
i don't see the depth on this team that other's are seeing. last year was the perfect season injury wise. i doubt it to be the case 2 years in a row. a couple key injuries here and there and the jet's could easily have a losing season.
we're on the way up talent wise, but we're not as close as some of the green joker's on this board think! i could make a killing against you gents with your homerish w/l predictions. i do get a good laugh reading these post's though. definitely going to be a different season this year. to the disappointment of most i suspect....

I believe that everything said he is irrevelant to what will actually happen. every game is a going to be a struggle for the Jets and I think they could win 10 this year but dont start making week by week predictions. Things happen, people get hurt, circumstances come into play, and every year there's a new surprise so lets just leave the analyzing before each respective week. Thank you

    Week 1 - NE - Win
    Week 2 - Baltimore - Loss
    Week 3- Miami- Win
    Week 4- at Buffalo- Loss
    Week 5- at Giants- Win
    Week 6- Philly- Win
    Week 7- at Cincinnati- Loss
    Week 8- Buffalo- Win
    Week 9- Washington- Win
    Week 10- Bye
    Week 11- Pittsburgh- Loss
    Week 12- at Dallas- Loss
    Week 13- at Miami- Win
    Week 14- Cleveland- Win
    Week 15- at NE- Loss
Week 16- at Tenn - Win
    Week 17- KC - Win

10-6, same record as last year but we are a better team. I also think we could win a game in the playoffs.

I think we can beat NE in week 1. However you could see them losing to the pats and winning at buffalo.
