and what of the pre-87 past of Gus in Chile? They made mention of it several times and never said anything this season. deff gonna play into next year
I was reading What's Alan Watching and he mentioned there will be Gus flash backs next season similar to Gail, per Gilligan. Whatever that means.
My bad I typed JR by accident. It was like my fingers couldn't stop, kind of like JR's jitters............
Really good finale, I'm not sure why had the kid live though. I mean he's worthless as a character and I feel like Walt's betrayal would've had more impact if there were actually some consequences. It'll be interesting to see what Walt does next season, they destroyed the lab but he can't have all that much money left. I can't imagine that Saul helped with the Jesse/cigarette setup for nothing.
In the DVD extras, will we get to see the 30 minutes it took Tio Hector to spell out Drug Enforcement Administration?
I think it is more that they want to keep extra possibilities open for the Walt/Jesse relationship for next season. If the boy died Jesse would have to place at least indirect blame on Walt and there wouldn't be as much that you could do with the show. As it stands both characters have been effectively granted a clean slate on professional pressures. I think that Jesse will be tempted to hit the road with his bag of money and start fresh, likely to no avail. Should make for some good television.
The kid lived, because Walt's metamorphosis is not yet complete....Walt has humanity left. That begs the question....What will it take to eradicate it? Walt jr. better start looking over his shoulder. (the baby is sort of inconsequential, while the evocative potential due to the age is good, the ties to the audience reside with walt jr. UNLESS Walt an Skyler really fall back to a lovey dovey thing, and both get snuffed (Skyler, Baby)
Well as we saw, Hank can basically walk now, I'm sure he will pose obstacles. They obviously are going to investigate the explosion at the laundry place. Maybe they get a sketch of Pinkman from one of the workers (Although I'm sure they know they die if they talk but the manager let the DEA investigate without asking the higher ups). I don't know if it's going to be Pink v White. It may just answer, "What now?". How do they transition into new lifestyles? Do they stop cooking? Do they move out of the area?
Alot of talk around the web that the roof scene in the end where Pinkman and Walt are talking and the camera is at a distance at the parking lot had someone there. Apparently, there is some heavy breathing in that scene and there could be something implied with Mike. Anyone have the episode still DVR'd and confirm?
