Really cool thing I came across online:***SPOILER FROM OLDER SEASON*** Remember Krazy-8, the DEA informant drug dealer killed by Walt in the basement after days of hesitation in the first season? The actor who played him is named Maximino Arciniega. What is the name of Gus' hermano murdered by Salamanca? Maximino Arciniega. Nice easter egg.
I love the way that Skyler's storyline is setting up. My prediction: this season ends with Skyler getting busted (either by the IRS for the fraud with Ted or by the police for hiring someone to intimidate Ted into paying the IRS back,) while Walt continues to get off scot free for being a meth cook. Either that, or someone is gonna shoot Ted in the face for being such an idiot. Either way, we all win.
*SPOILERS* ... ... ... I knew Gus was going to Mexico to kill Don Eladio. That was fucking bad ass. "Don Eladio is dead! His capos are dead! You have no one left to fight for! Fill your pockets and leave in peace! ...or fight me and die!"
I knew that the bottle had poison in it the moment he open the present. Last week, I said that Gus was going to Mexico to finish off the last remaining Don. It was awesome to see Gus and Mike take the backseat to Jesse in the Cartel's meth lab. You really go to see how much Walter's rubbed off on Jesse. It was almost like he was impersonating Mr. White in that scene. "I suggest you stop whining like a little bitch and do what I say."
this recent plot development is the ONLY , i repeat ONLY thing that makes his cumbag man-faced waste of a role wife worthwhile. its either going to lead to more heat on Walt, or Ted getting offed.
that was probably one of the better scenes in the whole series IMO. shows how long the characters and plot have come from their "humble" beginnings. yeah as far as the present went, it was obvious they poisoned it. especially when Mike tells Jesse "listen kid, either were all leaving here, or nobody is leaving here" I really loved the part when Don Eladio (not sure if thats correct) anyways when he looks at Gus and says "I had to spank you, every 20 years you get out of line" Gus just calmly gives him a "fuck you" look and calmly asks for the bathroom.
i actually hope this whole plot involves a very funny conversation between Walt and Bob Odenkirk (easily most underrated char)
Great stuff the last 2 episodes, love when Jesse took command in the opening. Loved the close up on Gus when he said "...or fight me!" Just like a realazation moment, or confirmation really...it was just awesome. On another note, a question for people who probably payed more attention than I did. And im not sure if this counts as a spoiler but Im just gonna do it anyway. ******************* ****SPOILER ALERT*** ******************* Rememeber when Walt let Jesse's girlfriend die....and Walt had the run in with her father, who afterward in his grief flew 2 planes into each other? I was waiting all last season for a newspaper to come out with the guys picture or some way for it all to tie together and Walt to have the realization that in a way he was responsible for the plane crash and that he met the girls father... That never happened right?
It happened. He saw the air traffic controller on the news and he was borderline obsessed with the plane crash at the beginning of Season 3. ...newspaper clippings scattered all over his floor and what not. The worst part about not letting Jesse know the truth is the fact that Jesse is one blaming himself for Jane's death and the plane crash.
