I'm ignoring most of this thread.

I just started to watch the pilot. Walt just had his whatever and is on the raid right now.

SO far it's good.

probly a bit of both. couple eps a night with the odd 3 or 4 ep night.

just finished ep 1, really entertaining.

I'm re-watching the first couple seasons just for kicks, first time doing so

 

got caught up on first two seasons within about 4 days.

now i have to wait for lame ass netflix to get thru season 3



one of my favorite shows of all time. or definitely within the last decade. the writing is the best part, the actors are all perfect for their role even those that only have 1-3 episode parts

 

Just strap yourself in for season 3. The show gets even better, in many instances way better.

 

Just caught up on the last couple of episodes after coming back from vacation.

While the show is still VERY, VERY good.....it isn't blowing me away like previous seasons. There isn't as much humor and there aren't as many "Holy Sh*t!" moments (last season it seemed like there was one per episode). Don't get me wrong....it is still probably the best thing on TV right now. Maybe with Jesse with returning to form we will get something real good going.

Anyone else think there is a slight dip this season?

 

The action was definitely down (even though it's picked up over the last two), but I think it was necessary and realistic considering the situation the characters were in. That's the great thing about this show though. They don't add any action fluff just for the sake of adding it, everything is calculated and done with patience to create a better end result.

It seems like Hank and Jesse were both revived from their downtime in the most recent episode though, so it should get more exciting.
