The only way Mike flips is if Walt & Co. can prove they are stronger than Gus & Co. That's not going to happen anytime soon. So, with the fact that there's only 1 season left (as of now), in mind, either Pink or Mike will die in the desert. You never know...shit always falls out of the sky in the desert...maybe just as Mike is about to kill Pink, a piece of a plane falls out of the sky and kills him. Then everyone thinks Pinkman overpowered Mike, then they are all afraid of Walt & Co. and they live happily ever after with no more conflict.
I don't think Mike or Jesse dies anytime soon. I have no plot evidence to back this up, but Mike is supposed to get a larger role this season and I've always felt Walt would be the one to die (not until one of the last couple of episodes of the series) with Jesse living.
I just moved and don't have my Internet hooked up yet. I was able to stream the episode on my phone but missed what I believe to be the last minute or two of the episode. I saw mike pick up Jesse in his car. Can anyone do me a favor and give me a short summary of what happened in the car?
Nothing really... Mike asked Jesse if he wanted to know where he was taking him, and Jesse said nope.
I think he's taking him to get rid of the bodies by the shot up chicken truck or kill someone or something in an attempt to have someone else on his side. I think he impressed Mike at his house and he finally saw some potential in Jesse. Gus would never trust a junkie and if Mike actually wanted him dead he would kill him. Rehab is a "half-measure" that doesnt make much sense.
3rd has a point. I don't think the drug goons are sensitive enough to accommodate Jesse's special needs.
I strongly doubt that Mike would go behind Gus' back with anything that could jeopardize his meth production. And if Gus didn't know that Mike had Jesse, he probably does now (after Walt stormed into the lab and asked the camera where he was.)
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be too happy if someone put me in a situation where these two things happen: 1. I'm freezing my ass off in a meth/chicken shipment truck. 2. Two spaggots unload machine guns into that freezing truck and my ear gets fucked up. ...that could really fuck things up, couldn't it?
I can't see that they'd kill Jesse and I can't see how Jesse could defeat Mike. So I'll have to go with "Mike is not trying to kill Jesse". Is the mexican cartel still playing? before the show they showed the scene when they threatened Gus, I'm assuming they were the ones destroying the truck at the beginning but anyway I'd think they still have a few more things to mess up in the story soon. Walt vs Hank is the ultimate confrontation; it's weird to see them together, the hero blindly trusting the villain, specially when I like them both.
No, that's why I threw that out there. Mike tells Gus that Jesse is drawing too much attention to himself, but Gus doesn't give him any kind of orders. The writers probably want the viewers to assume that Gus to Mike to handle Jesse though. This is just speculation on my part - I really have no idea how everything will unfold.
It looks like Mike is collecting money from drop spots. I don't think anyone could've predicted anything like this...
