The "go home Walter" moment was great. My favorite minor character is Saul. He's the only guy in team Walter that knows what is he doing and it's funny when he points the obvious. I hated Marie at first, but now I like her. In the last few episodes Skyler hasn't been annoying.
Speaking of "Go home Walter." I have seen endless debates over which person viewers thought called Walt. It's kind of interesting to hear all the different opinions on this. FTR: I am pretty sure it was Mike that called. The voice isn't right but neither was the voice in 1 Minute (Obviously they used a voice modulator there).....
What if it was Tyrus? That's apparently the name of the black guy that took Victor's job in the super lab.
Saw that too but I don't think it makes as much sense at this point. I think Mike makes the most sense. If it was Gus I think an RPG would have blown up Walts Aztek as it was driving away........
Really? I think that Skyler is even more annoying when she's trying to be "part of the team." She lost her right to be all self-righteous with Walt as soon as she became a part of his criminal enterprise IMO. And by the way, she should've let Saul handle buying the car wash (remember how he played Jesse's parents like a fiddle?) Huh, that's interesting. I wonder what kind of history Tyrus has with Gus (it seems unlikely that Gus would put "the new guy" in charge of watching his house through the night.) Despite the beat down, I still think that Mike's going to end up siding with Walt and turning on Gus. Walt will just have to come up with a better plan than "put me in a room with an unimaginably dangerous drug lord and let's see what happens." I think that Mike kicking the crap out of Walt was less of a way of saying "no" and more of a way to show Walt how far out of Mike's and Gus' league he is.
The mineral that he was obsessing over was a blue rock. Like Heisenberg's blue meth. Hank may be out of it physically and mentally right now, but he's still in the game.
She lost that right when she fucked Ted Beneke. Walter and Mike the Fixer are either going to team up or Walter is going to kill him. Walt is definitely in the same league as The Chicken Man. When Pinkman killed Gale, he proved that you shouldn't fuck with Heisenberg. There's a reason Gus is hiding like a bitch.
I seen lots of theory's about "minerals". The only thing I can think is that it is some type of euphemism for balls..........lol But I was wrong with the Mike call, you never know with this show. IFT lol
Walt is fucking up big time right now, it's hard to see how he and Jesse are going to make it out of this situation. He even mishandled the play with Mike, he should've just offered him money, as far as we know the guy has no real sense of loyalty to Gus. But Walt coming there like he did and telling him what he already knew had to be pretty insulting to guy like Mike. It's an interesting parallel to the Tuco situation though, Walt rightly ripped apart Jesse's plan of just shooting a guy and now he's so desperate he's got himself believing the same type of plan will work on Gus, a much more cautious man that knows Walt is going to try something. We've seen time and time again that Walt is pretty clueless as far as common street or criminal tactics go, unless he starts using his head again and trying to come up with a creative solution to the Gus problem he'd definitely get his ass handed to him.
That's what I see happening. Walt gets in cahoots with the betrayed Mexican cartel, Gus gets killed and Heisenberg becomes the new regional meth powerhouse with Mike the Fixer as his consigliere.
Nah, Walt isn't on Gus' level yet. Last season Walt killed two low level drug dealers and orchestrated the death of a defenseless lab geek. In comparison, Gus orchestrated the downfall of an entire freaking cartel. Furthermore, Walt's only allies are Jesse and Saul (who would turn on him the second he was seriously threatened.) Gus' reach extends way, way further (based on his cozy relationship with the DEA, he may even have dirty Feds on his side.) The last few seasons have been about Walt learning to become a real player in the drug world. I think that the next few will be about Walt learning to become a kingpin (like Gus.) But he's not there yet.
