Yes because Braylon plays the other offensive positions while on the field too.

The guys on SNY all want him gone, that's surprising. He showed he can still play, all we need is a competent QB to throw him the ball.

Braylon on the outside, Holmes underneath, Kerley in the slot and Hill as the 4th receiver is a solid group, we just need to upgrade the RB and QB positions.

I have no idea why people don't like Braylon Edwards.

There has been no more impressive WR to play for the Jets in the last 5 years, possibly much longer than that.

Gotta question the intelligence of anyone who doesn't want to bring back a guy that has done nothing but produce here at a position we need help at and WANTS to be here... and probably for not too much money

If this is a big deal, with all the other nonsense that's going on around the Jets, then some people's priorities are screwed up.

Braylon looks so much bigger than 2010 and its made him slow. Id take him as a 3 or 4 receiver but I'm not counting on him to be much for this team. Hill needs to improve and Holmes needs to get healthy.

Losing a #1 WR and the league's best CB to injury while managing to finish one game below MIA... Sucks to be a NYJ?

Man, Braylon is an idiot. Still want him back. Holmes, Braylon, Hill and Kerley isn't the worst group. Couldn't hurt to have one more guy in there.

How many on here have ever made the same gesture in a moment of extreme frustration/boredom/embarrassment? It's fairly common.

Dolphins players are happy. The expectation for the Dolphins this year was about 3 to 5 wins because of roster turnover and a rookie Head Coach in ex-Packer OC Joe Philbin. The team overachieved and are positive about the future. We expected to suck worse than we did

The Jets were playoff locks and had SB hopes. I think the players in the Jets locker room are unhappy because of the circus going on and how disappointing the season turned out. Rex is not good for the players, he lets the inmates run the asylum, and so they love Rex...... but that's like a kid who loves the babysitter who lets him stay up late and never do his homework. There's too much circus around the team and discontent in the locker room.

However, I don't blame all of this on Rex or Sanchez. If you go through my post history, before the season started, I said Sparano was a huge mistake. Everyone in Miami let out a giant "WTF LOL?" when the Jets hired him to be your OC. The guy is horrible. I think he may be the biggest reason for Mark Sanchez' regression this year. Example, it's the same as the collective laughing you guys had when you heard the Chiefs got Herm Edwards.

I don't know why more people aren't blaming Sparano for your offensive woes and misery and for Sanchez' poor play all year long. Sparano is really bad.

Whether Rex Ryan stays with your team or not, I think it should be a lock that Sparano is gone. If he isn't... you are in for another terrible offensive year next season.

In what world were the Jets playoff locks and superbowl hopefuls?

Still, given the way this team has self-destructed, that doesn't put on a good face, especially when you're trying to earn a full-time job.

Not a huge deal, but just something he didn't need to do. I really hope we bring back Braylon because I think he can be cheap depth with the chance to be a #2
