I'd bring him back in a heartbeat. Just get rid of that POS Schittenheimer and the rest of the offensive coaching staff (except Callahan).

What could the Jets get for Holmes though?

He's essentially untradeable for cap reasons-we'd have about 12.5 million in dead money under the cap if we trade him.

could say the same thing about holmes as far as being a head case, legal trouble, and a cancer to boot.

could say the very same thing about a slow footed over the hill plax as not being a step forward.

as far as young recievers in the draft, the majority of them take 2 to 3 seasons before they get to nfl speed.

edwards made holmes much more effective than plax has done this year. at the price he'll cost, i say he's worth a good look and see for next year. can't do any worse than plax, who only effective when we get to the red zone.

Please please please, sign Braylon back. His presence was clearly missed this year. I can't remember the last time Sanchez threw a completion more than 20 yards.

sure, now take off the green glasses.

you say all that shiat about braylon with the cancer holmes on the team. holmes was a better reciever when edwards was on the other side.

again, drafting a reciever is like playing the lottery, most of the time you miss. braylon brings something the jets surely have been lacking.

yes, i'll take his 55 receptions and 700 to 900 yds. they're better than what plax has produced!

you offer him a shot with the knowledge that he gets cut if he screws up. nothing to loose really, cap hit would be minor.

I agree with that, and also wouldn't hesitate to take a WR early in the draft if they are BPA (or close to it) at the time.

Time to grab the kid while his stock is low.

And the contract has to be 1) affordable 2) has to come with zero-tolerance policy.

Who else could possibly be on the roster? I would say this is our best bet for next year's WR core unless our drafted WR comes in and lights it up. However, its highly unlikely.

That's of course unless we get some ridiculous deal done for VJax, or some other lights out, top 10 fa WR. But based on our current salary cap positions, its highly unlikely we are picking up a super star.

I love how people are finally realizing Holmes was a mistake, and we should taken Braylon for much less money to.

Id love for Braylon to return here.

The only thing though is, with Plaxico we are the #1 redzone, and weve score the 6th most points.

Last year we could move the ball but could not punch it in, this year we cant move the ball, but when we do we punch it in.

people on this board have a weird thing for braylon.

he is not the only solution to our lack of passing downfield. holmes is just as fast, if not faster, than braylon in a straight line. holmes had no problem getting downfield in pitt.

and you guys don't remember all of that talk about braylon being an ass come out around the time he left? i highly doubt he wants to come back and it doesn't sound like the team wants him back.

get over it. that's some "grass is greener, i miss my bitch ex-gf because my new gf is a bitch too" type shit.
