In all honesty I think he was thinking about other things. His line about feeling Byrd's spirit at that time makes me think he was overcome with the moment and simply wasn't thinking about anything really - his mind was blank because he was caught up in the emotion of the play itself, the game, and the moment.

I think that's a great sign for a guy that has dealt with the issues and criticisms that Braylon has dealt with.

Not just two DBs, two pro bowl DBs.

Wanted to bump this because on the NFL Network replay with the NFL Films footage spliced in, Braylon talks about this topic exactly.

He's with the offense on the sideline after dragging the 2 DBs into the endzone and he explains:

"That was a beastmode touchdown; I couldn't dance on that one, I had to go beastmode."

The best part is one of the guys he dragged into the end zone was Brandon Meriweather, aka Mr. "He won't Dougie on me".

Those two punks got exposed by Braylon. Pro bowl? What a joke.

Tanny is a master mind in terms of working the salary cap, it's a must that we lock up Harris, Edwards, Holmes & Cromartie long term, in that order during the offseason. We get these guys locked up; & it's been a dream come true type of offseason.

Braylon is more than just a freakish WR, this man may also be the best run blocking WR in the game today.

Holmes is as clutch as they come during Tone time. This mas has I believe 6 TD's in 7 career playoff games. Crazy good.

With Edwards & Holmes on the outside, the Jets have the most talented 1-2 punch around. No doubt about it. By far my favorite Jets WR duo since Keyshawn & Chrebet. The scary part? Much more talented when compared to Key & Chrebet.

These two guys are explosive game breakers. We traded up for a Franchise QB for a reason; To build our offense around. Losing either one of the two will hurt the future development of both Sanchez & our entire offense. Having two #1 WR's, as gifted as Braylon & Santonio is extremely rare.

I am not sure it is still the case, but I feared some weeks ago that not all Jet fans were up to speed on how he's been the most consistent skill positions player on O all year. Kind of like people who still think Toyota makes the best cars, not having read about all their troubles.

You have to keep up with what is actually happening. Edwards has been great this year. Dragging those two into the end zone was a thing of beauty.

Signing him should be a priority on the offensive side of the ball.

Damn you Kris! Beat me too it.

I saw that video last night and then went to stats.whatever. He's had 2 drops the whole season and if my recall is correct, one was not exactly a good throw by Sancheeze (GB game).

The best part about the dream of resigning a 1a & 1b receiver?

We have a 1c receiver on the team as well. Mad Props to Jerricho

Deion Sanders, of all people, said it best. Grown men don't do flips.

it just showed that he was channeling emotions and feelings above what's typical of a football player
