Not liking the decision to bring in Mota to face Francoeur too much.

if you're only going to give feliciano one batter why take heilman out in the first place

    it makes no sense.

Honestly, for some reason, I'm ok with it. For one out only, I trust Mota. I hope those aren't my last words...

Motherfucker. Mota made some good pitches, I think the credit has to go to Francoeur there. The Phillies are down 11 runs, so whatever.

Well, no one can claim that it's second guessing. Mota threw lots of good pitches there, but I think it's important that he couldn't put Francoeur away with any of them.

I would also add that even before Ron and Keith said it, I thought the 1-2 pitch should be a high fastball. Lo Duca gets some blame for never calling for a high pitch the entire at bat.

Good point. The 1-2 pitch outside in the dirt was particular puzzling.

That's what beatdowns on the mound are for. Mets catchers are pretty good with that and Mota.

If they don't score here, they deserve to lose.

VERY nice play by Beltran to cross over after the grounder to third.

Great play by Beltran. Now, if Shawn Green can't hit a freaking sac fly, I'm not going to be able to handle it.
