    anything that would keep SD out of the wild card would be to the Mets advantage I think.

    that was some first inning in philly. they turned a triple play in the top of the 1st and then loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom and didn't score.

    maine looking good so far.

    it always bugs me that plays like that aren't charged as errors. let's have a little common sense here.

    Great - the miscommunication between Reyes and Beltran that should have been the third out is followed by two walks, and now Maine is in trouble.
