Dude that's great.... I just got a Curtis Martin autographed helmet. Somebody gave it to me as a gift. My wife is out of town so guess what slept in bed next to me last night? It was getting scary as for a long time the only autographed anything by future HOFers or current ones is a Harry Carson football and an ARod plane ticket. I don't think Al Toon is going to be in the Hall but it's sure cool to have his autograph and an autographed copy of Joe Klecko's book.
I have his autograph from 1966 somewhere, so this is a nice bookend. By far my biggest set of autographs is from the Cup-winning Islander teams, which only makes sense, since I had season tickets for 14 years. Lots of HoF autographs there - Denis Potvin, Bryan Trottier, Mike Bossy, Clark Gillies, Billy Smith - plus my parents' favorite player, Bob Nystrom, and my wife's favorite, John Tonelli. I posted this picture about 2 1/2 years ago when I got this as a 50th birthday present. It's not that easy to see, but all of those signatures are on there.
