Braves at Mets, 8/19-8/21

Shockingly bad at bat for Wright.

 

I stayed with the football because the baseball scores are scrolling across the top of the screen.
Alex Smith just led the 49ers on a short TD drive, but he didn't do anything special. Charles Tillman, one of the best CBs in the game, is having problems tonite, for what that's worth.
Al Harris making the Pro Bowl last year at the expense of guys like Tillman was wrong. Harris was ass last year.

Kyle Orton with a good pass to Mark Bradley.

 

even with the lefty/lefty matchup here given how beltran and delgado have been swinging the bat tonight i'm a little suprised to see that walk.

 

I had the same thought - there's no way anyone ever does that to the 1996-2006 Delgado, and the fact is that he's been playing that way for a while now.

 

The Braves bullpen should be able to find a way to fuck this up.

Braves pay with a combination of good hitting and bad fielding (as Gary noted, blame the pitcher, not the first baseman).

i hope gary cohen is killed. didn't look like he got it all but the motherfucker got me.

 

Tatis hits a fairly easy fly ball, and Gary gets everyone way too excited.

 

keith with a funny take on the braves "not executing" the bunt. maybe keith, if the braves didn't try to give an out away they would have a couple runs in already because feliciano doesn't seem capable of getting anyone out.

 

Phils already have two on with none out.
