Its not so much a problem w/our LBs ---- I think its more of a problem w/the scheme that Sutton was running. I mean, I look at the PATS 3-4 D over a long period of success & they had Tedy Bruschi, Ted Johnson, Roman Phifer & Junior Seau manning the ILB positions in the 3-4 and none of those guys had coverage ability either. Yet during that time span, I remember teams just could not pass vs the PATS D.

And as crazy as it sounds, I'm 60-40 in favor of keeping Eric Barton. He's not THAT bad in pass coverage.

I prefer Barton to Harris on coverage, maybe your right, about the scheme, man coverage on TEs and slot recievers was painful, honestly once I even saw Jenkins drop back

I like the hybrid 3-4 that Baltimore and Pittburgh run, they seem to have more athleticism and more react type players, the thinking mans game that is in NE takes a special type of player, and unfortunately we do not seem to have that.

It just makes me sick seeing Harris chasing a reciever into Kerry Rhodes for a 10 yard gang tackle on many passing plays
