I screamed "FUCK" and walked away from the TV and then another 1...I was sure he was done for the season. I then said, Same thing happened to Decker last year remember? and you know what happened? fucking lucky!!
I've heard complaints about the entire spectrum of UA shoes from basketball to baseball to football, mostly design and functionality. Surprised the hell out of me because they are strictly a sports apparel manufacturer.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/18/brandon-marshall-has-mcl-injury/ I don't understand how he could have this MCL injury and could miss the KC game, yet was allowed to return to the game in Buffalo? My guess with 10 days rest he can play in Kansas City.
Eric Decker had the same injury last year and missed a week. However with a longer week this week he may be fine to play. Probably won't know more until Thursday.
I agree, with the Jets medical staff's sterling history of ethics, I can't imagine that he was given a cortisone shot and sent back out to the field against a division rival during prime time.
That used to be called a sprained knee. No acl injury or torn meniscus. They prolly knew that right away. Maybe did an mri this w/e, and/or Brandon was sore as hell on day 2 afterwards. You could keep playing with a torn meniscus too depending on the severity. Depends on degrees of the injury Truth is after what happened it's not such a bad thing, and could've been much worse. No way Marshall was coming out of that game
Of course losing Marshall for the season would've hurt our offensive potential as well as Fitzpatrick's ability but if there's any chance he could further injure himself by playing too soon maybe it's not a bad idea to shut down Marshall for our game against K.C. Have Decker as our #1 with Enunwa as our #2 & hope one of either Jalin, Anderson or Peake can step up in replace of Marshall while Forte is once again utilized as an X-Factor. We've all raved about the potential and depth of our receiving core heading into the season so maybe resting Marshall @ K.C can help us moving forward. All I know is it'll be a tragedy if Marshall were to sustain a serious injury due to being rushed onto the field too soon.
I wouldn't be opposed to resting him. Obviously it'd be a game time decision, give him a few plays but limit him severely unless he feels 100%.
Obviously take this with a huge grain of a salt, but saw this last night: @NYPost_Cannizzaro In response to report that #Jets Brandon Marshall has left MCL injury, I'm told by a source in the know he's "fine" and #NYJ "not worried"
