Rex after leading his team in talking shit for 3 seasons, goes up to a player on a team that just beat him and talked more shit, and said "wait til we win the Super Bowl" Rex has 3 superbowl predictions, and no rings, not even an appearance. Jacobs has a ring, and just helped his team beat Rex's team, he can say anything he wants.
Ryan Island. Unlike Revis Island, this island wasn't created through skill. But yeah, Brandon Jacobs is a pretty big douchebag, himself. He came out of the tunnel at halftime of his game against the 49ers saying, "They scared of us!" His team promptly lost the game. Pretty much a player version of Rex Ryan, so anything he says about Ryan he can apply to himself.

Hey I'm a Rex guy I like what he's done I'm not satisfied, and I won't be until we win a VLT but he's brought us closer than anyone in recent memory except Parcells, and Rex' not likely to bail on us. He does it to boost his players, nothing else but when they dont help him out, the entire team, including Rex, looks like a joke.
from what I heard Jacobs was the one who confronted Rex and started talking, calling Rex a bastard, bumped him etc. Yeah Rex talks but that was a bit too far from moon head Jacobs.

I think it was premeditated to get back in favor with Giant fans. Why would someone who gives NO shit at all about winning OR team be so aggressive going after Rex. Only problem is that for a guy that needs a hole bigger than a 84 year old prostitute to run through to gain yards...hes finished anyway...so who cares.
Wow.. I hate this fan base. We finally got an awesome coach and this fan base is already turning on him after one disappointing season. This team isn't 2-13 right now, we are 8-7. At worst we have a .500 record on the season with no playoffs. Sure, no playoffs sucks, but it's not a complete and utter failure. We have all endured a bunch of meaningless seasons. Our fan base contributes to that, and a lot of you need to wake the fuck up and realize that we are not "elite". We haven't been "elite" since Rex has been here, he has done wonders with the group of players we have, but we don't have a bunch of elite players like other teams. A lot of you need to stop crying and over reacting like a bunch of babies, take a couple deep breaths, count to ten, and realize that Rex has been an awesome coach. He knows his shit, he is determined, and he will build an elite team. Get some faith people.
Who cares about Jacobs...if we wanted to shut him up we should have played better and won the damn game. They made the plays when they had to, while our team choked. End of story.
Another thing: if Rex thinks we should run the ball more he needs to take charge and stop deferring to Shoddy.
Rex talks a lot of shit, I usually don't mind all that much when opposing players fire back at him...but, man, I hate to see an asshole like Jacobs get the ammo to do it.
Talk all we want--bottom line is we have it coming ! A holes like Rolle and Jacobs and any Giant or football fan can say what they want and we have to take it bent over or sideways because this team talked like Tarzan and played like Jane.
