Actually yes. He has stated that he intends to expand the passing game to more of a 20 yard per attempt offense rather than 10 or bare minimum that Schotty always did.

Does my point about Fisher hinge that much on his hiring of Schottenheimer? HOW? When did he hire Schottenheimer, prior to this season, in his 17 year career? Care to clarify that?

    And... you did say this:

To which, I said that is just not happening within this millennium, if that soon.

I was being too subtle. It's one thing to take Moore and throw it down the field. I really meant should we expect the Jets to have Mark Sanchez wing it down the field this coming season.

Come on, you know what I mean. Did you used to be so down on Fisher before he hired Schotty?

Oh yeah. Of course. Just I didn't have to bother. And I don't care really as of now either - it's St. Louis problem, not mine.

You are saying Sanchez is worse than Matt Moore, right? Now that's funny.

Last year, Matt Moore was ranked 12th in the league while Sanchez ranked 23rd.

I know that sucks. But it is a fact.

As far as going downfield, in 347 attempts Moore completed 38 at 20 or more yards and 6 at 40 or more.

    Meanwhile in 543 attempts Sanchez completed 39 at 20+ and only 2, a measly 2, at 40+.

It must have all been Sparano.

    That's a joke, son.

Sanchez and the entire Jet offense had a bad season and everyone is piling on. I have heard the Matt Moore argument before and its funny. If you want to talk about the past, how many time has Moore made the playoffs and how many wins does he have in the playoff and how many times has he beaten, Brady, Manning and Big Ben? I fully expect this argument to be non-existent after the 2012 season

I love brainlessly bashing. Schotty sucked. His offense was too complex and don't quote me on this but I remember reading somewhere that Brett Favre ask Schotty to simplify the offense because it was so complex. So now what makes you think that if arguably speaking one of the greatest QB's of all time asks to simplify what will a 3rd year QB do with that complex offense? Schitty also called the stupidest plays, why does Sanchez throw the ball 60 times in a game, seriously? THANK GOD HE IS GONE.

Sanchez is in the bottom 25% of all starting QB's in the NFL.

Jeff "I've never won anything" Fisher higred Schotty b/c Fisher is old and lazy and wanted an OC that runs his own show without bothering the HC.

Can you even imagine Shotty playing OC for Payton Manning??? Peyton would just stand there while Shotty rattled off some dumb ass play, then walk over and punch Shotty in the mouth.

So Sanchez is worse than Gabbert, the Browns QB, Ponder, Palmer, the Dolphins QB, Kolb, Cassel, and Flacco?

Manning would definitely audible out as soon as he received the play.

**Manning in huddle waiting for the play**

"Breaker copy over.... run the 5 receiver curly q route again"

**Manning, looks toward the sideline at schotty**

"the fuck?" "Let's air it out boys, go long on one. Ready break!"

Sanchez is in the bottom 50% of the league but bottom 25 is wrong. He is better than 8 starting QBs in the league

    Bradford
    Ponder
    Gabbert
    Kolb
    Seattle (Jackson, Flynn, Whitehurst)
    Palmer (questionable)
    Flacco (questionable)
    Fitzpatrick
    Freeman
    Colt McCoy
    Hasselback

That's at 11 right off the bat, and he's right on the heels of several other QBs

Wanna see how these top 50% fares under the guidance of the Genius that is Brian Schottenheimer? None of other otherwise capable QBs (Pennington and Favre for instance) fared better than Sanchez did - if so, only marginally. (Pennington's 17/16 line or Favre/s 23 INT performance hardly strike fear into you now, do they?)
