Nobody is denying what Fitz brings to the team apart from his play, but he still has to perform at a level that wins games.

I want him back.

But if a qb emerged that can handily outplay Fitz, he'd be just as likable as a backup.

 

Agreed , but I've yet to find evidence that that QB is out there

 

You're right...there's not one qb, that we could conceivably sign, I'd rather have than Fitzpatrick.

Kapernick has talent, but I don't know how well he fits our scheme.

In a perfect Jet world, Fitz comes back at a good price and Petty improves by leaps and bounds to take over next year.

It's never perfect in Jet world.

 

I almost hope we trade for him so someone can start a thread in the 2nd qtr of week 1 titled "Sam Bradford Upside Down"

 

Bradford is not the answer. He is an average QB at best. Throw in the injuries, move on.

 

They aren't trading Bradford, Denver tried to get him and philly says he's not for sale. Of course that means they will jump us tonight to take Lynch.
