The only upside Bradford has is when he gets sacked and lands upside down

Don't sign me up for Bradford. To me he's a slightly more polished Sanchez.

Sure I'd trade a 7th rounder to philly for Bradford.

Here is the catch... They pick up $15 mil of his salary and take Breno

What rhymes with Breno?Hint: He threw three back to back ints against the Bills on virtually the same play and the same read.

I don't trust Hoyer at all. I'm just not interested and hope the Jets feel the same. It least Fitz proved he could be productive in Gailey's offense.

The title of this thread is an Oxymoron.
There comes a point in time where you have to move on.
We were ready to move on from Sanchez+Geno (now) at 25…
Bradford is 28, injured more often than either of these guys, marginally better and gets paid a lot more.

    No thank you!!

Foles was a 3rd round pick. So one bad season and his career is over.

id be happy with bradford depending on what it takes. a conditional pick where we give a 4th if he starts all 16 games and a future 5th/6th if he doesnt sounds good to me. or if we can move mo for bradford and a late pick.

bradford is due 7 million this year, which is very friendly for us.

bradford is better then fitz and 5 years younger. durability is the big question with him. he would have by far the best weapons he has ever had. id expect him to easily tops what fitz did.

Amen to that! I think the real MVP is his agent. Anyone who can take an injury-prone, whiny, mediocre-at-best quarterback and make him as much money as Bradford has received over his "prestigious" career should be commended.

Sam Bradford could possibly be the best QB available.

    ON A FUCKING HOSPITAL BED.

yup.... its such a horrible decision to even call that play. if your going to take blame off fitz then put it on gailey. a post over the middle is the last thing you want there. give me a jump ball in the corner of the endzone or back shoulder throw or screen pass. something with an extremely low risk level. one of those where its a touchdown or out of bounds type throws.

anything but a turnover and we take the lead there. horrible play call, horrible decision to throw it.

and you trust fitz? the guy who threw the 5th most interceptions in the nfl? the guy who was 3rd in the NFL in turnovers? the guy who threw a pick on the biggest play of our season? a guy who couldnt lead us to a win over the shorthanded bills the last day of the season?

    you trust that guy?

If we sign Fitz for 16-17m? Yes.

If we sign him for under 10m? That's fine.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of Hoyer as our starter either. I just feel that if Fitz's contract demands are untenable, I'd rather have Hoyer as our starter than Geno, or Petty, who isn't likely ready.

What is getting lost in all this back & forth is what Fitz brings to this team BEYOND his play on the field .
He's a great locker room presence , loved by his teammates and the perfect guy to groom a young QB with both his on & off the field conduct .

He's the perfect guy for this team for the next 2 years .
