    The more important question is:

Will Brad Smith throw the ball?

I haven't seen it asked this week. (I'm shocked)

Let's see, our 4th WR or our no. 2 corner? That's a tough one...

So if smith hasnt done shit for us all day on returns and we are in need of a spark or our season is over, you wouldnt try Cro which could be considered a "hot hand" for this specific assignment?

Smith can break Tackles and is deceptively fast and better vision but Cro got a burst give him one solid block and he's close to the 40 every time.

Cant we put both of them like we did with Leon and Justin Miller?

We can even try to catch em off guard and try a reverse with Brad and Antonio

I think it comes down to the fact that we'd much rather have Smith break his leg on a kickoff return or get a concussion than for Cro to go down.

I'm good with both those guys in the backfield. Cromartie is pretty awesome though. I'd like to see Smith at QB for more plays

Assuming Smith is healthy id say the odds are overwhelming hell throw it. IF our offense is struggling or were losing and need a big play

I was convinced LT was going to throw it the othernight himself if the quarter had not ended.

If everything goes according to plan Smith will only get one chance to return a ball on Sunday!

Has to be Brad Smith at KR. At 100%, Brad Smith is better than Cromartie (who has done a fantastic job in the interim). Really, if Smith can go at KR, even if its not as good as normal for him (which would still be better than most other KRs in the NFL), he should. If Cromartie gets hurt, I wouldn't say the Jets are doomed, but it would certainly hurt their chances.

Brad Smith or Antonio Cromartie, it really doesn't matter to me; I only hope to see our kick return unit out there for 1 return this Sunday.

That means A) Our defense dominated Roethlisberger & the Steelers offense, B) Our defense pitched a shut out, and last but not least C) The Jets won the game by the score of 'X'-0.

We're in great shape in terms of kick return talent/ability. Brad Smith is an overall great kick returner due to great patience and strong field vision. He also runs like a race horse; long strides, much faster than which it looks. Then we have Cromartie... Two words come to mind; extremely explosive.

    Morton.
    Miller.
    Leon.
    Smith.
    Cromartie.

Kick returns are the least of my worries. Thank you Mike Westhoff.

I'd much rather have Smith then Cro.
I feel more confident that Smith won't make a mistake.

Smith. The only way he loses that is if he fumbles.

Well Hopefully we only have to see him (Or anyone else) return 1 kick and thats the opening kick off or the kickoff after half time.

Cro has the straight one speed, but he can't cut as smoothly as Smith on KRs at all. He's pretty much a straight line runner on ST. Smith is a gifted returner.

I seen it...but your kidding yourself if you don't think Cromartie was a better PR/KR

I think Cromartie is clearly the better athlete with more speed. He doesn't have the patience or vision that Smith does and he seems more careless with the ball. I'll take Smith over Cro thank you, but Cro isn't a bad backup option.
