It's obvious what he was doing, instead of learning about this game so he can engage in intelligent discussions he keeps posting the nonsense that he posts.
I'm a little surprised we haven't run a fake punt this year...but that's something else Brad Smith is better than Leon at.
Westhoff said he had the fake on twice in the Ravens game but they had to check off because of the defensive alignment. I think it's probably just a matter of teams being very aware that we're willing to run the fake and being prepared.
yeah the one's where Leon didn't have a metal rod in his leg! Oh and the whole issue of the ever changing rosters too.
Yeah, where else would we have gotten those three garbage time carries from Joe McKnight? Good thing we did that.
I assume you're responding to my post? The Bills massive inability to stop the run probably got McKnight on the active roster that day. I actually figured he'd be on the active yesterday too because of the Broncos similar ineptitude, but I guess they wanted to stack up against the pass instead.
Yeah, the Jets really could use a spark on special teams with them having such an awful year without Leon's two kick returns. Whats your assumption on that one anyway? Leon runs back the two kicks in week two, a game that we won without needing them, or that he does it a week earlier and the Jets are now 6-0? Either way it's dumb to assume that he would have returned anything for a TD on the Jets but it might be fun to see just what we are dealing with here. Dammit I can't believe I am actually having a conversation in the joke thread.
Haha, gotcha. My point is simple--Leon and Brad Smith was never an either/or deal, they were teammates for four years and both produced.
I hadn't read that. Thanks. And you have to wonder how that might contribute to Weatherford's big season--he hasn't had to punt under hurry at all, because the defense can't come after him so hard if they have to worry about the fake.
