I think McKnight will be an X factor - He will be back there returning kicks with Cro and with Smith out, he may get a few carries as a change of pace.
I don't mean to threadjack, but I noticed that Ihedigbo is a captain today. Does that mean is he active and will play?
damn. This is gonna hurt. I was hoping to not risk a DB or receiver on returns. Wildcat has been pretty effective this season also.
Why is Mulligan inactive? We're only going to have two tight ends for this game. I'm guessing Turner will get some reps at the position.
I'm not shocked. Rex didn't sound too optimistic about him on Wed/Thurs. I'm not a big Wildcat guy and I think that Cro is actually a more explosive return man than Smith, so despite this clearly being a loss on punt and kickoff coverage, I thnk we'll be fine.
LT can run the wildcat if need be he has been successful at it in his career. Hopefully Smith is ready for next week against Steelers if we get that far
Ducasse is not on the inactive so you may be right... I wouldn't mind it but I don't want it to consume us to the point of being inept. We have to throw the Ball in the Endzone. Shotty has this mentality of get a short 3rd down instead of get 1st downs which drives me fukin NUTZ!
Just sayin, huge blow with no Brad, but LT has more passing TDs than Kellen Clemens , just sayin'
Agreed He could turn out to be the Shonn Greene of last season's playoffs when he had fresh legs and was running over defenders
I think you're right, and they must think they can run on the Pats without a lot of heavy packages. Plus, they've activated every DB they got, so back to the Colts gameplan on D in some form or fashion.
Mulligan is inactive because the Jets use Turner at TE a lot anyway, so why bother having 3 active tight ends when you're going to be using a tackle eligible there anyway?
piss and shit! we need all the offensive weapons we have today this is definitely a big blow. jets need to score points early regardless. cant get behind like the last time these two teams played
He's playing but who knows if that's a good thing or not. We need a plan to stop their TEs and RBs out of the backfield. I hope Ryan has one this time.
