Yes. I'll stick my head up a cows rear, take it out and stick it back in again if the Sabres don't win more than 6 games next season.
There will never be another such thing as a great NFL kick returner from here on out... Kickoffs have been moved up to the 35 yard line. Kick Returners won't be running the ball out of the endzone anymore.
1) It must suck to be the Bills and have Smith's agent announce that he didn't want to sign there within 20 minutes of the news breaking. 2) If Smith wanted to stay with the Jets so badly, why didn't he wait and see what happened with Asomugha?
Liked Smith as a player and especially as a person... I'm very happy for him getting 15 mill over 4 yrs but god it must suck to play for the Bills. Also I would've been pissed if the Jets gave him that kind of money... so goodbye and good luck!
I think you will be seeing a lot more of the wildcat from Flubalow this year. Thats the only reason to pay him that much. Saying they didn't run the wildcat much before is irrelevant. They didn't have BS before. Don't know if it will work, but wouldn't be surprised if this guy gives the rest of the division nightmares all season.
You can't run the Wildcat formation without an O-Line. It's all about the offensive line. The Jets? One of the best run blocking offensive lines around. The Bills? Their O-Line can't compete with ours. Brad Smith will have no success running the wildcat behind the Bills O-Line. He'll get attacked before passing the LOS.
That is an asinine deal for Smith. He has little value for the Bills aside from returning kicks. I thought he would be offered 3 years at 6 million, and the Jets could keep him for 3 for 5. But, 4 for 15 is ludicrous. However, cant blame Brad. Hard to turn down that much money.
The latest is that Brad Smith will be listed as a Quarterback for the Bills... How great would it be if he earned the starting job?
