Can't wait to see what the contract numbers will be. He will only be used as a 3rd QB option and possible scat type player, we dont run the wildcat that often. I can't imagine him getting return duties over Parrish and Spiller either.
Sorry if already posted - details on the deal per Schefter: AdamSchefter Adam Schefter Bills reach agreement with former Jets WR Brad Smith on a 4-yr, $15 million deal.
Happy for Brad getting paid, but this makes Woody's earlier tweet even funnier: damienwoody Damien Woody Looks like the AFC East is gonna be tough....my condolences goes out to the #Bills for being innocent bystanders
It depends on the guaranteed money, but that's a lot for a guy who really isn't a very good receiver, and whose kick return value was diminished by the new rules. I loved him just as much as other Jets fans, but it was a foregone conclusion he wouldn't be back.. especially for a contract like that. The only way the Bills can get players is to seriously overpay.. and that's what they did it looks like. Good luck, Brad!

15 million is too much for a kick returner and a wildcat guy i loved smith but he isnt worth it since he blows as a reciever
At that price are they expecting to play the wildcat 50% of the time. They way overpaid for a below avarage NFL receiver/good return guy.....
Good for Brad smith! I wish him the best 14 games a year. I don't really see the fit, they don't run the wildcat that much and have parrish to return kicks. Maybe I'm missing something?
Can't hate on him for jumping at that offer. He owes us 2 bad games a year after we showcased him better than probably any other team could have, leading to him getting that payday.
Congrats to Brad Smith, that is alot of money for a special teams player. Good for him, but sorry to see him go to Buffalo. I guess that is better than NE.
