I knew the Jets were going to start Fitzpatick when Maccagnan recently said, "you think of different aspects of when you decide on making a change, especially at that position, because it effects other players on the team, too. I believe Bowles and Maccagnan are both in agreement to roll with Fitzpatrick as the starter vs the Pats. It shows just how small the playbook must be for shotgun Petty. He's not ready yet. Last thing I'll say, is I would love to beat the Patriots, and if it takes starting Fitzpatrick to do it, I'm all in.

Overall it has been a holding pattern with hopes of some brains from the Owner and the CS. But nothing permanent or positive develops. Sell the team Woody or hire a guru who knows what it takes. big difference between playing spoiler to the cheatin Pats, and beating a hapless Titans team. the only thing that would prevent another Pats Super Bowl run, is not having home field advantage (where they do their most efficient cheating). beating them last season had a huge impact on them, and we didn't make the playoffs then either. no divisional game is ever 'meaningless' imo..
