If the other two guys can't play, do we even have an extra roster spot for a 4th QB? Most teams carry 2 and since Geno and Fitz aren't getting cut, seems crazy to tie up a 4th roster spot at qB no? We would have like 4 QBs and 3 safeties lol And if Petty is playing , I sure hope he's improved since preseason

A very tough loss and some very good points about Bowles being way too conservative, but I think if we can overcome these damn injury woes our schedule is very favorable to a wildcard run. The thing that worries me is the mindset of this team coming off that beat down, we are really going to see what this team is made of in the coming weeks. Don't sleep on the Jags they show some flashes at times, and with a short week after that to face Rex in primetime, we'd better heal our walking wounded and fast.
Never blocked anyone on here but it's really getting to be that time... how do mods allow this? lol. Nobody called Bowles trash when our defense was ranked #1 and we were 4-1 (2 weeks ago) Nobody called Chan trash when we were #8 offense (last week) Nobody called Fitz trash when he turned the ball over once or twice a game... But Geno has one turnover and adds to Bowles's mental lapse in the 4th and suddenly he's a born losing thick skulled idiot that should never see the field again. Unbelievable. Threads like this is why i believe the jets have THE shitttiest fan base in the NFL. Extremely Loyal (while ignorant), maybe to a fault... but classless and shitty as they come.
I wanted to vomit when I saw Geno come in. The team gave up when Fitz went down. If the team has that little of faith in Geno then it is crazy to still have him on this team. The QB is the leader and if the team doesn't trust or respect him then it is only going to get worse. Sign Matt Flynn and let the chips fall where they may. No need to get Petty in the fire this early if he is not ready.
Only 10-12 teams have a truly "good-great QB". Does that mean the rest of the league should play conservative until they somehow end up with one of those 12 QB's? That logic is stupid. Fitz has shown that when the offense is aggressive he can move the ball downfield, but our coaching staff ends any momentum we have by playing to not lose instead of playing to win. My whole point is that we're playing to not lose when we have the talent to compete with any team in the league. Our team is being inadvertently sabotaged by our coaches decision to pump the breaks when we have a small lead.
and you know they have been on a downfall since week 3. Very unconvincing wins as of late, 0-2 in the division.. including one to the bucs. and they haven't even played the Panthers yet. Im not even sure if they played a team above .500 yet.
