I hate Myers so much. We bring the dam guy in to face lefties, especially Ortiz, and every lefty he faces gets a base hit against him.

Can we please designate Vizcaino for assignment? Him and his 6+ ERA can go elsewhere.

Vizcaino, Farnsworthless, Myers...Do something with those bums!!

Just let me keep Bruney and Mo, Proctor I wouldn't mind if you wanna trade him...

You know, I tried to give Moose the benefit of the doubt after he really took the young guys under his wing last year, but for his entire career, including in Baltimore, I've always thought Mussina was a shitty pitcher.

He's proven it once again. Last year, the success he managed, was an aberration, not him.

And we not only got screwed on that Crisp steal, we got screwed on pitch calls early. Manny should have come up with one man on, tops, but arguably should have lead off the next inning.

I know it sounds like sour grapes, but damn, this is ALL freaking year so far. We're having it tough as it is, without the umps putting the screws to us all the time.

I'm the first to admit the Yankees got A LOT of calls in the 90s and early 2000s, but since MLB no longer needs the Yankees to "save" the sport, they're having a grand old time kicking us in the crotch.

    Sickening, just sickening.

BTW: Did anyone see the ump grinning when he called Crisp safe? They showed it on the replay. It was the same asswipe that called the ball on Farnsworth last night for putting his hand to his mouth. And he had the same grin then.

That's not true. Boston is talented. They are perhaps the best team in baseball.

Yeah, we're getting screwed on calls, but we can't just take credit away from the Sox. Taveras pwned us tonight. And their bats took advantage of their breaks. That's what the good teams do.

Boston is a very good team. It's not about luck.

meh, we got screwed on a call taht should have been ball 4 last night and a run scored, which would have brought Papi up with the bases loaded. Bad calls happen all the time, not just against the Yanks...which I find ammusing - re: 1999 ALCS

    That's right, my bad.

Yup, West. That F'n turkey neck bastard. He reminds me of a guy back in the 80s who I can't remember the name of who outright stated he hated Rickey Henderson and didn't like the Yankees. It was amazing how often his calls would go against the Yankees.

I would bet anything in the world that the number of calls that went the Yankees way is the same as the calls that went against them. Things like that even out, though as a fan you only remember when you get one against you.

Like I said, when baseball wanted the Yankees to win to bring fans back post-strike, we got a lot of calls. Now that baseball doesn't need us anymore, they shit all over us.

It's not like this was the first time this happened this year. Just a couple weeks ago, the same thing happened, and it lead to the run that beat us. And we've been getting ripped off all year.

If it were just the better team getting the benefit of calls (Boston) then I couldn't complain. That's the way it's always worked. But that's not the case. The Yankees are getting killed this year on plate calls, and caught stealing plays.

I guarantee it has. I can't remember the Sox getting any calls either, but I'm sure they have. The calls you get just don't stick out in your mind.
