I try to be objective. I tend to agree with what you're saying, that it usually balances out. (Though we got a lot more than we didn't over the late 90s early 2ks.) I honestly can't say whether or not the Sox have gotten screwed this year. I haven't seen them play besides against us. However, I do know the Yankees are getting shafted pretty often. Tonight is the second time in this month that a runner was caught stealing at second, called safe, and it resulted in runs. (If I'm not mistaken, the last time there were 2 outs as well.)
Here's another thing about tonight. Not to dis the Sox pitching staff, but damn, why can't we score consistently? This is ridiculous now. Sure, we can argue that the Sox have a couple runs they shouldn't, but the fact is, we aren't getting the job done. And we really need to ship out Abreu already. The guy is a total waste.
100% agree... The lineup smashes Wakefield but gets schooled by Julian Tavarez? What? They simply cannot put a nice week together for shit! Abreu can take a 1st class plane to wherever he wants, at this point I wouldn't care if the Yanks pay $10 million of his contract to deal him.
Just release Abreu. I don't care if we pay the entire contract for him to sit at home. Just get rid of him.
we just cannot bring in the risp. i dont know how many bases loaded we have wasted this year. far too many. abreu is a worthless piece of crap
Not bad. Okajima hadn't given up a run since his first pitch on opening day, so I guess it was bound to happen.
Posada was out too. The throw beat him. We got ours back, and we did nothing with it. We handed away this game. Nice job Yanks.
