    I read Lou Holtz's autobiography Wins, Losses, and Lessons a couple of years back. Whilst it isn't particularly about the technical nuances of the game, I thought it was a really good read about a hugely impressive and inspiring man.

    I'm curious, what did he have to say about his illustrious time at the helm of our favorite squad?

    ...or his time as an old-timey 19th century gold prospector?

    Not a huge amount as I recall, it was mostly about his early years and his time at Notre Dame; much of the book focussed on his personal philosophies towards football, management and life. It's definitely worth a read.
