With the 19th overall selection the Buffalo Bills select..A'Shawn Robinson DE/DT Alabama. I have Rex Ryan taking a defensive lineman. There's about a 99% chance he does that in real life too if he gets his way. @James Hasty You're OTC bring home a prize for our beloved NYJ.
Ooohh shit. I can't believe you traded up for that! Bust! I thought you were gonna double down at WR and take Doctson. That woulda been sick.
With the 20th overall selection in the 2016 NFL draft the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!! select: Noah Spence OLB Eastern Kentucky. 21. Washington Redskins - Jedabe OTC - PM sent!
I like the Spence pick. He's more a DE though.. Had his hand in the ground but I can't deny the explosiveness off the edge! Hopefully he can grow to a 3 down OLB and not just a 3rd down pass rusher.
At 6'2 253 lbs dude is a Mo Lewis clone. Despite his unimpressive workouts at the combine and on pro day his film and performance at the Senior bowl prove that he can deliver on the field. He can beat OTs with his speed but needs a lot of work on his technique. I was pleasantly surprised he was still there at #20.
I actually gave this up and will be picking with the Bengals instead. @Martin&theJETS is now OTC with the redskins
If we pick Spence I'd definitely expect us to switch to a 4-3 with Mo and Spence/Mauldin at ends and Sheldon and Williams/McLendon at the tackles. I think a lot of the hesitancy to make the switch was due to the fact that Snacks was just too good of a NT to take him out of his natural position, Bowles has already said this offseason that they're considering a 4-3 base now.
With the 21st pick in the 2016 NFL Draft the Redskins select: Mackenzie Alexander CB Clemson @dvince89 you are now OTC.
Houston desperately needs some one besides Hopkins that they can trust in the passing game. With the 22nd pick the Houston Texans select WR Josh Doctson TCU @JetsfanHBca is now OTC
Boom or Bust. The ectasy addiction scares me. Not sure I would've taken him over Jack Conklin but he has a chance to be the next elite pass rusher and you don't find that with the 20th pick too often.
Go big or go home. We need a crazed dog to give Brady something to think about every time he tries to pass.
I know a wr is the general consensus but the Texans traded up to get Jalen Strong last year who has had a chance to develop. Brock's favorite receiver last year might have been Owen Daniels and the Texans don't have a real option at TE. Hunter Henry had 1 dropped pass in his entire collegiate career.
I would argue that Kubiak's favorite target was Owen Daniels. It's a very weak TE's class. I was a Jalen Strong fan as a college player but he is nothing special for the NFL.
While I do think Spence will fall out of the first round I think the reasons are different. Gregory had no physical endurance and was super thin for an OLB. Spense has a nice frame.
Failed drug tests 2013 & 2014, banned for life from big ten, alcohol related arrest in 2015. I think he will not go in the first.
