This game showed me that we gave up on way too many great players: Weatherford and Woodhead namely...

But you are right, I think this game will give us some momentum going into the off-season. I still don't want Manning, though.

LOL I really didn't want this to turn into ANOTHER Peyton thread, but it's not something that should not be looked at in this situation. I have a feeling this win by the Giants WAS in fact a blessing in disguise.

Im sorry but you don't become an elite nfl qb if youre not ultra ultra competitive.

Absolutely everyone wants the best for their closest friends/loved ones, however the best always want to be at least just a little bit better than them.

Nobody wants to be second best, nobody

    Agree x100000.

No one. No one, wants to be second best. Whether you are brothers, or just acquaintances. You better believe Peyton has the aching feeling right now to go out and be a better QB then his brother. Which involves, winning rings.

exactly we have a nice core of players we just need to make some more adjustments to our roster. We need a pass rush, new safetys and a legit number 2 receiver. We will be okay in the long run imo.

And Rex Ryan to stop acting like Joe Namath, guaranteeing shit. Except, he doesn't come through like broadway.

    4. For all you Peyton lovers, maybe this is more of a reason for Peyton to join the Jets. Eli just surpassed him with Superbowl victories. He's going to want to win one immediately. Which better place to do it, then in New York, the same city his brother runs right now?

I thought the same thing too after the Giants won, Peyton was always considered the better of the two brothers and now that Eli is surpassing him I could see him looking to join the team where he has the best chance of winning it all.

Well, you would be completely, thoroughly, grossly wrong. The Giants and their 8 world championships (4 NFL, 4 SB) disagree.

Please dont joke yourself. They are clearly a better team. I dont care which way you twist the story. Take off the green glasses.

Hard to see any blessing in a Giant victory

The only possible bright spot would be a drop-off/let down by the Pats which could open up the AFC East top spot

I wonder if he's going to try to convince Sanchez to sit and bring in Peyton Manning for a couple of years?

I mean...at least Peyton is willing to play for Non-guaranteed money. Plus, if he goes down, Mark could step in...

After the Pats loss I finally found one true blessing in the Cmens victory.

It is as close to concrete proof as possible that all of the Patriot SB wins were due to cheating.

They have been hot garbage since they got caught in the cookie jar.

If anything, this Giant's win reiterated the thought that the Pats are choke artists

^ Without the Videotape to cheat, the Pats are who we thought they were.

As much as it pained me to watch the Giants kiss and touch that trophy, I think it was more of a relief to watch Brady and Belichick cry their eyes out over another "could have been" season

Won't have to deal with it. Moved to Miami years ago :)

    Although, I feel your pain!

Fuck it man. Have another drink and celebrate the Patriots loss :)
