So will the $600 affect Geno's FICO score?

Lol.....love the "half naked" references. Seriously? He's standing outside on a sunny day, in sneakers and shorts, no shirt, throwing a football around.

    Now there's a sight you don't see every day ! GTFOH...and I'm not even a Geno fan.

    LMAO at TNJet's post....

I love the "Bizarro" reference. It fits Geno perfectly. Geno is always going to be out of sync somewhere, sometimes drastically so. Because he has a completely unrealistic opinion of himself.

You don't think the view he has of himself is aided by the coaching staff and his teammates talking about how big of a step he's taken this offseason in terms of leadership in the huddle, comfort, etc?

Let's see! Send out a reporter to "advance" the story. He finds a bored kid throwing around a football without a shirt on a very hot day. Headline! Run back and tell the coach and get a reaction. What, he is going to drop those hard throws from his buddy and be out for the season. OMG! Manna from heaven. The Donald Trump of football.

I think Geno arrived with an inflated opinion of himself and the coaching staff did nothing to break him down

I love how people are now trying to blame Todd Bowles for his stupidty, his selfishness and his bizarre persona. He was like that before Todd got here, he was like that before he got to the NFL. He's been like that his entire life. His scouting report was spot on.

I think that was Nolan Nawrocki that wrote that, he was blasted for this report when he wrote it, but it was prophetic.

He also wrote reports on Matt Barkley and Cam Newton that were not received well.

He was not trying to be a contrarian when he wrote the scouting reports, they were just observations.

guy needs to be a 3rd wheel on a date spilling what he notices. He seems really good at reading people.

Not a student of the game. Nonchalant field presence — does not command respect from teammates and cannot inspire. Mild practice demeanor — no urgency. Not committed or focused — marginal work ethic. Interviewed poorly at the Combine and did not show an understanding of concepts on the white board. Opted not to compete at the Senior Bowl and has approached offseason training as if he has already arrived and it shows in his body with minimal muscle definition or strength. Has small hands and glaring ball security issues (32 career fumbles). Really struggled handling the snow in Pinstripe Bowl (took two safeties) and will be troubled by the elements. Needed to be coddled in college — cannot handle hard coaching.

This is what was said about geno smith. Seems dead on, I don't follow college sports but remember reading this and thinking what does this guy know. Lol he knew allot, it's sad this report basically ended this guy in some ways. He had written hash criticisms of Jamarcus russel, cam newton and when he wrote about geno smith he was branded a possible racist.. Reading on him now was interesting he actual doesn't reveal all the bad shit he finds out about these guys. His name is nolan nawrocki. If anyone's interested in reading more.

Where are you getting the idea that Geno is lazy and doesn't work hard? Where are you getting the lack of work ethic from? Where are you getting that he doesn't command respect? Let me guess Ryan Clark and anonymous sources? Where are you getting that he doesn't understand the game or simple concepts? You're believing he's a malcontent based on things that wouldn't label anyone a malcontent. He's been bad to date none of that other stuff is true about him.

Todd: "Hey Geno, I know you meant well and were probably itching to get into some football again after your surgery now that the preseason's started, however we can't have you just working out on your own without the check and approval from our medical staff. We can't risk you getting injured"
Geno: "Okay Coach, just wanted to get moving again, I'll keep that in mind"

How do we know it was nothing more than that? We don't, and in fact that's probably all it was. The headlines that he's in trouble and has pissed off the coaches and that is just media beat up.

I copied a scouting report on him.. It's from 2013, what in there doesn't appear accurate? He certainly commands respect as one of his teammates broke his jaw..

Getting punched in the face by a practice squad player tells me he doesn't command respect....And go watch replays of every Geno turnover to answer why he doesn't understand simple concepts...Does he work hard?Maybe but simply " working hard" isn't enough in the nfl ,everyone works hard
