I did notice that. There was a 3rd down pass to Maroney where he landed about a yard short of the 1st down and the line judge gave him a very favorable spot. They should've at least brought out the chains, but they called it an automatic first down. I saw it too. U weren't the only one.
How about the catch by Welker on the 1st 4th quarter TD drive. At least 2 and a half yards added there.
ok i am glad i am not crazy. when shit like that happens i usually just assume its my hatred for them that makes me think its happening. thats a real shame that it happened so many damn times and also let them stay in a rhythm. the jills should have at least called for the chains, although they werent really given a chance.
The Bills lead the NFL in stupid last minute losses caused by indefensible decisions by players and coaches. Usually that is enough to get the head coach fired ASAP. I actually feel sorry for Ralph Wilson. The guy knows that as soon as he dies his heirs will sell the franchise for as much as they can get, with a down payment already having been made in the Toronto deal, and the Bills will leave Buffalo forever. He's a pretty stand up guy and I'm sure he just wants for the Bills to give Buffalo a championship finally before they ride off into the sunset. However he doesn't have the money to go hire a Cowher to do that, and even then he knows Cowher wouldn't get the job done before the Bills moved. It's sad.
There were also some questionable calls against the Pats, the roughing the passer kept alive Buffalo's last TD drive. Bottom line, that Buffalo KO returner needs to get to the ground WITH THE BALL and they win. I liked the idea to come out and get it under the 2:00 warning with the return, but fighting for an extra yard there is senseless when you risk losing the ball.
a friend of mine who's a bills fan texted me last night after the game, it just said "only the bills". Poor guy.
What's sad about Dick Jauron is not just that he's a horrible coach...it's that when you look at his face during the game you can tell that he knows he's a horrible coach.
