I don't think they're all that similar. Ricky is a nutcase and retired because he was to be suspended anyway. This douche is just a quitter - took his money and ran. In another 5 years he'd have his whole life to pursue those interests but he's choosing to fuck over his franchise, teammates, and fans instead.
