Um...negative. We should have beaten them...don't sugarcoat it, just cuz we beat the raiders.

grow a pair and take it like a man.

While I'd hardly agree with the OP that the loss stings less I think Buffalo defensively is better than people thought. All week I kept hearing how Carolina was going to run all over the Bills and blow them out. Now it doesn't change the fact that we should have won that game I am confident that we'll win up there in large part due to the fact that their home field is going to be neutralized by playing in the Skydome. IMO this is a huge advantage to the Jets O not having to worry about Buffalo weather in the winter.

Make no mistake about it, losing to the Bills was awful.

The loss hurts more now. We should be 5-2, 2-1 in the division in a tie for first place. The Bills loss was equivalent to the Raiders loss last year. They have very little room for error now with teams like Indy, Cincy, ATL and a rematch at NE still on the schedule. Not to mention a tough Miami team next week. We will need to go on a serious run now and pull off a big time upset over either NE or Indy while beating all the team we should beat to get into the playoffs.

Of course if you don't view the Jets as a playoff team this is all moot.

Actually, I think I've gotten over it. It does suck that we're 1-2 in the division though.

See, I'm over the Miami loss, because they were able to hang with the Saints. The Bills fucking suck! They are like the Raiders, a team we should have walked all over. Still not over that!

It'll hurt much more when we end the season right behind New England at 10-6 instead of 11-5.

I'll feel much better about our situation if we can handle the 'fins this Sunday.

and the BILLS didn't hang with the SAINTS? They got rolled in one game this year, against MIAMI. Their level of play is something to be desired, but they found a way to win three games so far.

If we beat Miami and get to 5-3 at the bye...does the Bills loss go away? Or at the very least, sting less?

The Jets should have beaten Miami and Buffalo and they should be 6-1 right now. Maybe they could have beaten NO too( 3 more picks in that game) and been undefeated. There is no way in the world that anybody should just "accept" any of these losses or think for a second that they are less stinging.

We shoulda beat the Bills and we had the Saints beat if it wasn't for Sanchez.
    Miami was ours too.

    We should be7-0.

I was more upset and sour over the Miami loss. The Bills loss hurt in the moment because i was surrounded by Bills fan. But a few days later i just tried to stop caring.

Then the Jets beat the Raiders...........
    yay.

As every Jets fan worth his salt knows, we have a completely brutal loss at the Meadowlands yearly. Let's just hope that was it, and that it doesn't happen twice.

I agree. The Buffalo will be the one we look back at once the season is over and wish we had it back. I'm sure in typical Jets fashion in order to make the playoffs it going to come down to Week 17. We're gonna have to beat Cinny. and have help from other teams mainly due to that division loss.

I was physically ill after that game. That was the toughest one for me since 2 missed FG in Pitts.

We're not going to reclaim the division from the Pats until we win the games we are supposed to. The Pats hardly ever have a brutal loss like that...especially at home.

If it was an early season wake up call instead of a late season collapse I'll take it
