I didn't think our safeties were as bad this week as they were in the past. Our CBs on the other hand had one of the worst performances of the year
Lol. Besides that the Bills still would have had their 1 minute to work with. I wonder if they still would have been able to make it down the field like they did if they were tied and not behind. Glad I didn't have to find out.
Why the hell didn't we run any PA pass plays, I mean I didn't notice any, I missed a few plays here and there, but with the way we were killing them running the ball why not.
If Keller and buress don't make those 2 circus catches in those big spots we lose this game. Both throws were way off by Sanchez and his receivers helped him out.
The takeaway from today's game: The Jets have just enough talent to overcome deplorably poor coaching to beat an extremely mediocre team. Super Bowl here we come.
I would love for Sanchez to have a great completion %, but that doesn't score points. The 4 TD strikes did. Sanchez is going to be the QB here for another 8 years. He needs to be coached better.
Get over it man. They made the plays. That's what football players are supposed to do. This isn't a one man Sanchez show like so many make it out to be.
If this team would have a real QB, there would be no need for a comeback in the 4th quarter. That was the worst 4 TD performance I have ever seen. One pick that should've been five or six, he makes terrible decisions in every game. No coaching can fix that. You can have a better playcaller for sure, but if he keeps throwing it between 4 defenders, it's not gonna help much.
You gotta love the people who create an account to bitch about the QB in a game where he lead a 2 minute drive to win the game...
Been following this forum for a long while and my profile wasn't created today. And I'm amazed you still believe in your QB, after that stinkfest. And yes, it was a stinkfest. If the QB was cabable of playing consistently, there would be no need for that comeback. Watched the first half of the Patriots game today as well. After watching Sanchez, Brady looks like Michelangelo out there.
Are you seriously comparing Sanchez to Brady? A third year player with one year of college ball prior to that against the best QB in the league. Brady looks like Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Picasso etc. against 95% of passers in this league.
Brady *is* Michelangelo out there. Throw away all the other artists fast, they're not Michelangelo! And I do believe in Sanchez. If we actually get a decent OC in here he'll probably still turn into a great QB. Not the new great QB, the guy who is always there at the end when his team needs him. That kind of QB has won the vast majority of Super Bowls ever won.
The Jets won, I'm happy about that. I'm not happy about the sloppy play all over but a win is a win. Going forward the Jets have to play much better but they needed this win to get their confidence up a little bit.
