Well at least the Bills showed they can pull the trigger after 2 years of bad football. Do the Jets show the same? The Bills fought hard down the stretch at least.
I really don't get the Rex hate. The Bills are a 8-8 roster. Tyrod Taylor, always injured Watkins and a dolphins washed up tight end (Clay). Who the hell else is winning more games there besides a Andy Reid/BB type of coach?
You being the Rex guy that you are, I'd thought you'd be in mourning wearing sack cloth and ashes for your fallen hero..
Very depressing,,,,what excuse will the Bowels lovers have when the Bills beat us this week ? If only the headline had read Todd Bowels feeling much better thank goodness but fired anyways,,,,,,Good luck sexy Rexy
I've, like many of you on here have said, think teams go abkut finding a coach the wrong way. A good coordinator doesnt equal a good coach. They're very different skillsets. To expect them to be something they havent done isnt realistic. Im definitely not a fan of this fire a coach to make a coordinator a head coach for the remainder of the season. Its not to their benefit. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
I knew some mope just couldn't keep from posting one of these in the Jets forum even though at least two were open properly in the NFL forum.
While, just for the Jets, that would be a good thing as he'd destroy a potential up-and-coming AFC team, I'd rather it didn't happen. They've done a decent job of building something in Jacksonville that the right coach will come along and take the rest of the way. I'd hate to see Rex ruin that for them. He needs to go to the Colts. A team with a solid offense and a terrible defense. He could make the defense marginally better and claim to be a "success" while reaping the benefits of having a franchise-level QB. Basically, he'd get to take credit for doing absolutely nothing, which is about the only thing I think he's good at to begin with.
And so begins his TV career. After which, he'll be hired multiple places as D coordinator - hell, his idiot brother is still milking that cow...
Also the Bills are intending on benching Tyrod Taylor and starting EJ Manuel.... probably not the thread for this but has anyone watched a lot of the Bills this season...Im struggling to figure out why the Bills aren't into Tyrod.. I happen to think he's a pretty good QB and would gladly take him on the Jets next season
lolwut? That's GOT to be a tank/draft position move. Actually it's a money saving move, they don't want to be stuck paying TT $30 million if he gets hurt
Man, that would've been hilarious to see Rex driving out of the stadium after getting shit canned in that Buffalo Bills pickup...
According to Adam Schefter its a mixture of both economic and uncertainty. Whaley wants to see what EJ Manuel is, so essentially a try out for 2017, and economic wise they don't want to risk Taylor getting hurt because he is due 15.5 million bonus, and 30.75 million guaranteed if hurt.
