Geno basically has had his chances to start for the Jets drastically lowered by all this. Something would have to happen, like Fitz totally shitting the bed, or getting hurt, for Geno to get another shot. He's no longer guarenteed anything here...It wouldn't surprise me if he presses charges to try to return the loss of playing time "favor" to IK. He'd be smarter to let it go and focus on football though. Getting better on the field should be his only focus now. His window is closing on him...

It would be the height of hypocrisy for a player on the NYJ to go after IK given that IK was cut presumably because he could not control his emotions. It would make TB look like a fool IMO.
Going after a player on the field for the opposing team during a game is totally different then punching your starting QB in the jaw.
hockey has nothing to do with it. players will scuffle on the field if they don't like the way a LBer gets up after sacking the QB.

I mean you can't really blame Rex for Sheldon but he kept IK around, who was a problem child and let Geno get away with all sorts of nonsense last year. Rex completely disregards team chemistry as if he's Al Davis circa 1975 and can bring in all sorts of degenerates who'll play as a team. They weren't going to be able to completely drain the Rex influence with Bowles being here five minutes and running a couple of gassers.
