I don't see fools, so I don't know what all this blather is about, but let's face it, when Belly harps on Baltimore this Baltimore that, that's his way of talking shit to Rex. He's saying: you ain't nothing, you ain't got nothing I havent seen already, bring it on fat boy. And I do believe we will
Yeah I kinda like Ordaway or however it's spelled...the rest of them are fuckin morons though. Did you hear the whiner line tonight? 15 calls making fun of Ryan and the Jets.
Umm, don't u know that the Jets have only played one game? U think u get the whole playbook with one game. U think the Texans didn't study Marks preseason and/or college games? U think Texans don't know Ravens and their "xeroxed" D? How did those 18 games worth of preparation work out for u in 07? If I was a Pats fan, I would seriously be worried about their "explosive" offense that put up 25 whole points including 12 in the last 2 minutes after a McKelvins turn over. The Jets managed 24 points, including a few knee downs to end the game with the ball at the Texans 20. U think Pats D is better than Texans?
"I know they weren't worried about us," Ryan replied with a smile. "That's why they were running our defenses in March. I'm no dummy. I talk to the quarterback. He's our quarterback, he's not New England's quarterback." Rex retorts in today's press conference. Translation: you may THINK you've seen everything I've got, but I KNOW I've seen everything you got.
Wasn't Eric Mangini, Belichick's copy boy, responsible for running Belichick's very own Xerox machine? Is that what he's talking about? Or is he talking about his illegal videotaping. Whatever... here's a man who unashamedly talks about someone Xeroxing something when his entire career has been about copying and spying. In-fucking-credible.
I hope we're running the Baltimore playbook on defense. That's what Rex Ryan came over here to do, and unlike Mangini's attempt to bring in the Pat's 3-4 Ryan actually ran that defense successfully for a bunch of years. The best thing we could have this year is an offensive carry over from last year, minus the 38 year old arm, and Baltimore's defense. That would be a Super Bowl trip if it happened.
The fact remains that even though we may be running some hybrid of the B'more defense, Belichek still has to devise a way to stop it with the personnel he has on hand.
The Whiner line stuff can be funny - their listeners are more entertaining than the group of knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers who sit behind their WEEI microphones, singing Belly's praises.
A voice of sanity among all of the Pats* static. Why would any of us care if Rex imported an exact copy of the Ravens defense? Did Belly come up with the schemes he runs on defense? Their offensive schemes?
Slow down gun powder .. One of BB's game plan from the Buffalo Superbowl is in the hall of fame .. A game plan! .. Not sure if the Rams game plan is ..
No Kidding! When I was sitting at Shea, freezing, eating a crapy Potato Knish, where were all the Pats fans? Not at the old stadium, and not before they almost moved the team down south. Bandwagon fans 100%! I dont think 10% of them even knew what the old logo's looked like! (Pats player taking a dump)
Look for Belicheat to Xerrox the Steelers play book for Sunday. The Steelers did beat Rex Ryans' Ravens three times last year so I expect the Patriots to try and copy what the Steelers did last year. Rex is an awesome coach so I hope he realizes what Belicheat is going to do and the Jets squash it before it even starts.
Nice call black and gold! I am surrounded by Steelers fans but they also respect and have lived the past, unlike dumbarse Pats fans! My biggest worry is with shutting down Moss on the big plays, Brady does the same dink/dunk he did against the Bills, with Rb's coming out of the backfield and Welker running away. I could fathom loosing this game, but just want to see Brady get hammered several times badly! Down south, were I am, most Steelers fans, and there are 1000's, are pulling hard for my beloved Jets to pound Braday and the Pats hard! This may not be my year, but as long as its not Brady and the Pats I will sleep at night.
