Yeah, but let's face it - being a bandwagon Jets fan is hardly the same as being a bandwagon fan of a team that has been in five superbowls since 1997.

    A little ahead of yourselves?

Hi Ya gangrene fans. Don't ya think you are a little ahead of yourselves with your big hopes? Let me see... a rookie QB has one good game and that makes him the next Tom Brady. Don't you know that new coaches and new QB's are difficult to prepare for? Don't you know that there is no film to study on a team with a new coach and new QB for game 1? How do you gameplan against that? Of course you don't know. You haven't seen the glory days in so long that even the slightest sign of hope has all of you thinking the Lombardi.

I hope you do have a good defense. The Pats offense could use the practice to better prepare for our opponent in the Superbowl. I would worry about your offense. It's very naive to expect them to repeat their game 1 results once other teams have film to study.

No. In my book, bandwagoning involves following a team that has won a championship even though the individual fan has no geographic or family links (dad was a fan, for example) to that team.

In other words, 99% of Patriot* fans outside of New England, and maybe, what 50% of them in New England, who couldn't be bothered with the Pats* during their dark years, but now love Raandy Masss and Taahhmy B. You know the type, cheering in the stands of Foxboro like drones the other night: "Luv yah Brewski! Thanks fuh givin yer all for us Pats* faahns!" Ask them about Tony Eason or the Snowplow game, and they go, "Who, whaath? Eh, gimmie anthota Sam Addams! Go Pats*"

A little jealous you don't have the hoodie as your coach? I don't blame you. For what it's worth, Rex will give you plenty of laughter all year with his ridiculous remarks. He can always be a stand up comic when his coaching days are over next year.

He didn't want to be our coach, by the way he did a great job with the Jets D in '98, almost getting us to the Super Bowl...

Welcome to the board... don't think we'll be seeing ya post too much after Sunday though. Hope you enjoy your stay though...

  7. Don't you just love this style of Pats fan? They feed into everything WEEI and ESPN throws out there. Might as well not even play any games b/c the Patriots have Brady at QB and Bellichick as HC. No one else is worthy so why bother even discussing anything?

I hope you know this stuff is kept for future reference. Much like the classic undefeated thread....

And what do you mean "our opponent"? Are you on the roster?

I lived in NE during the end of the Carroll years. It was so great to hear that fat fuck Smerlas and his WEEI buddies cry every week about how bad the Pats* sucked. I can't even explain what joy I took in it. Smerlas may be the dumbest man ever to play in the NFL. His analysis was always laughable on Mondays. God it was great entertainment.

It was absolutely intolerable in the years that followed. Belly and Tommy could do no wrong. Kraft was the best owner in the league. The "fans" who called in always saw every thing that Belly did as the "right move," and when they got beat, it was always because of some external factor, not that the other team was better.

I am so glad I am far away from that pole-smoking ass-kissing station.

  10. I was born and raised in CT, went to college in RI and have done field work throughout MA.

90% of Pats fan you cant even have a conversation w/

The worst thing was the "Tuck Rule." They would never admit what everyone outside of NE and the idiot refs who made that call knew and knows - it was a fumble and the Faders were robbed.

Dude really? REALLY?! You got no defense and had your win handed to you last week, some scrub ran all over you defense and Mayo is out for a while, we aren't thinking we're amazing, we are thinking your team is weak. Yeah your offense needs some practice for sure, scoring 10 points in three quarters, Brady is good though he pulled it together when Leodis McKelvin handed you the game and their defense shit their pants all over the field. Edwards made you guys look lame aswell with a bitch ass rookie O-line. :gpc::gpc:
