    This is what I miss about Penny. He was phenomenal in play action. Probably his best talent. Even I would watch the RB get gang tackled by 11 defenders only to have Penny pull the ball off his hip and launch it 30 yards down the seam to a wide open receiver.

    Someone once gave me this quote to describe Penny's Play Action:

    Luke: Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

    We have all the weapons for a stout run game with PA pass. Just need that QB who can manage an offense and pull the ball out, give the d the dagger.

    We will be fine with Ivory and Bilal. One of the better tandem RB attacks. Plus Bilal is expectational in pass protection.

    Not sure if I want Spiller or a young kid out of college as our 3rd. Leaning towards the draft. Scat or power back? not sure

    Powell might surprise a lot of people this season. He wasn't bad under MM and Rexy's GnP. He was just under utilized. I think Gailey will find innovative ways of using Powell. He's not Curtis Martin, but he's not Blair Thomas either.

    Powell is a surprisingly good player, It's funny how some people just trash him mercilessly without actually using any examples but an annual stat number.

    I've seen some supporters of his say he has no power but I've seen him at the second level breaking tackles and lowering through them, and that's not even his strength. Powell is going to end up being a really good signing for us.

    Powell has always been a solid player and the fact that he has been consistently underused should mean that he has less tread on the tires then other running backs that have been around a few years.

    Glad to retain Powell. He was indeed misused last season as many stated here. He's pretty durable and a guy that runs hard. I say he is going to have a breakout year in 2015!

    Don't know how many years,, might be just 1, but first year is $2mil, 1.25 base salary + 750k signing bonus. Great contract.
